Parking modularity - Brooklyn, USA
This project was implemented at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in a partnership between Colas and Sidewalk Labs (Google). It explores the potential of a fully dynamic and flexible kerbside (Flex-Curb).
A set of Flowell panels with different LED colours was installed thus allowing allocation of the two parking bays for:
- Paid parking (white markings)
- PRMs Parking (blue markings + logo)
- Drop-off zone (Yellow lines)
- Pedestrian zone
- Temporary terrace
